Repost from LifeHacker: Make Your Dock Icons Translucent for Hidden Apps

So I’m a mac user now (pause for groans) and I saw this really cool deal over at lifehacker. I likes it so much I’m posting it here in hopes that non-lifehacker mac users can benefit. It’s a terminal tweak so combine it with Visor and a hotkey (I use ctrl+space) and you get it working in four seconds. Here’s the code:

Then "killall Dock" will restart the dock in coolness.
